Dr. Annie Huang grew up in Vancouver, BC but moved across the country for her undergraduate degree at McGill University, majoring in Molecular Biology and East Asian Studies. She then completed her Doctor of Optometry degree with Distinction from the University of Waterloo.

Dr. Huang discovered her passion for providing eye care to her community when working for ophthalmology after university, and has since strived to provide full-scope eye care to her patients through disease education, prevention, and treatment. Dr. Huang believes in the importance of empowering individuals with knowledge and confidence in their eye health. She was active in promoting extended learning and was the president of the American Association of Optometry Student Chapter in the University of Waterloo.

Outside the clinic, her passion lies in food, both in creation and consumption. She enjoys pouring hours over recipe books and trying out new eateries. She is also currently discovering the joy of gardening.

Dr. Huang is excited to be back home in Vancouver and is looking forward to helping you and your family in English or Mandarin.
